Comments: Had the privilege of meeting the director and seeing the film this week at here at 19 Wing Comox. I deployed from Petawawa as a member of the Health Services Unit on Marc's tour, assisting with coordination of medical evacuations of casualties including those of D Sqn. March 8th is my sister's birthday so i will always remember that day in 2009. Shortly after returning from Afghanistan, I made a trip to Toronto and stopped at your son's gravesite to honour him - your son, our brother...

Comments: I went to highschool with Marc. We weren't close friends by any stretch of the imagination, but he was always so positive and full of energy it was hard not to like the guy. Every year on Remembrance Day I think about Marc, what he sacrificed for Canada, and dwell on the fact the world is worse off without a guy like Marc in it. Gone but not forgotten.

Comments: We had our rememberence day ceremony at our school today and the women who spoke mentioned her husband serving in Afghanistan and how a man who he had become very close with while serving had passed away and she told us to remember the name Marc Diab and that was a way a showing our rememberence
Comments: I just finished watching Marc's documentary. It reminded me of what my parents felt when I served and what I felt when my own son served. I was lucky...and now, thanks to you, I feel lucky again...for having been allowed to share your son with me...he's a hero all round, and I'm positive he'll be in God's ranks waiting for you...
God Bless

Comments: Tonight I had the honour of viewing the documentary 'If I Should Fall'and it was truly beautiful. I have shed many tears for the fallen and their families, such as the Diabs. The work these men and women dedicate their lives to doing has not gone unappreciated and will not be forgotten. Just this March, my high schools History Club went on a tour of Europe visiting many Canadian battle sites and paying tribute to our valiant soldiers. Thank you Marc for your service and impact and may you rest in peace. You will all be in my heart, Sara (17).

Comments: To our hero Marc and his family,
Jesus said: "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends" Marc you put in practice this verse by laying down you young life for us and in this Remembrance Day your sacrifice reminds us that Freedom is not free.
Rest in peace brother, I know that you are in a better place around God's throne singing with the angels.

Comments: I finally found the strength to watch 'if I Should Fall'. My son was in 3RCR and when I was visiting him we always ate at Marc's family restaurant - the food was amazing but more importantly the family were so friendly and always seemed to be wanting to please people. Obviously a quality that Marc had, based on the video I just saw. Very touching and genuine. My son returned from Afghanistan safe and has since retired from the military. I am so proud of him and what he gave our country. He volunteers in our community and has talked about Marc's video. I'm sure Marc's family is proud of him, I know I'm proud for him. My heart goes out to Marc's family.
