The Islamic State is calling for the assassination of Barron Trump, youngest son of President Donald Trump, and jihadists have posted sensitive personal information about the 11-year-old on their social media networks.
According to the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) and The Washington Free Beacon, members of the terrorist group have been using a popular channel on the messaging app ‘Telegram’ to share information about young Barron.
ISIS supporters “called for the assassination of Barron Trump, and shared the name of the school that Barron attends along with a Google map pinpointing its location” in a post earlier today.
“Using the hashtag ‘handle the son of the mule of America,’ the supporter, who uses the name ‘Dak Al-Munafiqeen’ – Arabic for ‘striking the hypocrites’ – wrote: ‘Barron Trump goes to this school in Washington,’” MEMRI reports. “The post was followed by a photo of Barron Trump.”
“To widely disseminate the call for assassination, several pro-ISIS Telegram channels have shared and forwarded the post.”
ISIS has also recently threatened to kill the Pope and attack the Vatican on Christmas.
Threats by ISIS during the Christmas holiday season are rarely empty. The terror group has carried out a number of terror attacks during the holiday season around the world. Just today, authorities in Germany arrested eight ISIS sympathizers and seized explosive material in raids tied to a plot to attack Christmas markets across the country. They planned to strike on the anniversary of last year’s German Christmas market attack.
