Custom wedding ties
Since Adam married Eve (or a very long time ago), weddings have revolved around the Bride: the dress, bridesmaid's dresses, hair, makeup, flowers, nails, etc. The Groom's Party is given a color swab and sent to rent tuxedos for $200.00 with a strict 48-hour return policy. The game was changed in 2014 when Mr. & Mrs. Blake Madani, my long-time family friends, asked me to make custom ties for their special wedding day.
They sent a pink fabric sample of their bridesmaid's dresses so that I could shop around and match the color with the groomsmen's ties. I shopped for the most elegant pink fabric and found the perfect match! From there, I handmade ties for the groom, groomsmen, fathers, grandfathers, and ring bearer. The family and happy couple enjoyed their custom ties so much that they ordered additional ties for their extended family and friends.
For a unique additional touch, I embroidered the tail of each tie with "Mr. & Mrs. Madani, 2/28/15, Blake" -- featuring the couple's name, wedding date, and each groomsman's name. Not only did this add a special, one-of-a-kind, unique feature to the couple's wedding, it also gave the groom and everyone in his wedding party a keepsake and lifetime memory.
